Biography
Rebecca has enjoyed a robust career as a performer and teacher for over 18 years. She began her violin studies at the age of four under the tutelage of Betty Haag and was quickly accepted into the prestigious Magical Strings of Youth performing group in Chicago.
From a very young age, Rebecca performed in noteworthy venues such as Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium, The Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Berliner Dome, and The Teatro Nacional de São Carlos. Rebecca has also had the privilege of performing in masterclasses for world-renowned artists such as Shlomo Mintz, Vadim Gluzman, Olga Kaler, and Stephanie Jeong.
Ms. Rosmanitz earned a bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance under the direction of Danwen Jiang at Arizona State University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Violin Performance at Southern Methodist University with Alexander Sitkovetsky. Rebecca has performed regularly with the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra, Symphony of the Southwest, West Valley Symphony, and MusicaNova Orchestra. She has also had the honor of playing with renowned artists such as Smokey Robinson, Matthew West, and Kari Jobe.
In addition to performing, Rebecca has taught students of all ages for many years. She is passionate about bringing up the next generation of musicians and prides herself in having the ability to tailor her teaching style to each student’s unique personality and needs. She finds great joy in helping her students reach their goals and watching them grow into fine musicians.
