Preston Harmony School of Music occupies more than 4,000 square feet in Preston Forest Village, conveniently located at the corner of Preston Road and Forest Lane in North Dallas.

Grand Piano Studios
Every piano student at Preston Harmony learns on a Steinway or Boston grand piano in one of our ten dedicated piano studios. Each instrument is professionally maintained and tuned on a regular schedule because a student's ear develops from the sound they hear every week. We believe students of every level deserve exceptional instruments, creating an inspiring learning environment from the very first lesson.
Studios for Strings, Voice & Guitar
Our additional teaching studios are designed for voice, guitar, ukulele, violin, viola, and cello lessons, providing a welcoming environment where students can concentrate, make steady progress, and enjoy one-on-one instruction.
​Voice studios are equipped with pianos for accompaniment, while our string and guitar studios include music stands, footstools, and the specialized equipment needed for each instrument. Demo instruments are available for new visitors to use during their trial lessons. Every room is thoughtfully designed to support focused learning and meaningful musical growth.
On-Site Recital Hall
An important part of music education happens beyond the lesson studio. Our 70-seat recital hall, located inside the school, gives students regular opportunities to perform in a familiar and supportive environment. Featuring a Steinway grand piano, it provides a professional stage where students can build confidence while sharing their progress with family and friends at a convenient location.
​With an on-site recital hall, we are able to host Fall and Spring recitals, themed performances, music festivals, rehearsals, and special events throughout the year. Students become comfortable performing in the same welcoming space where they learn each week, making performances a natural and enjoyable part of their musical education. Most performances are included as part of tuition, allowing students to gain valuable stage experience without additional venue fees.
Comfortable Waiting Areas
Music lessons are often a family activity, and many of our families have two or more children enrolled. Our welcoming waiting areas provide a place for parents and siblings to relax, read, catch up on work or homework, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while lessons are in progress.
Complimentary Wi-Fi and a dedicated study area make it easy for students to complete homework while waiting for a sibling's lesson, and our children's library helps keep younger brothers and sisters happily occupied. Conveniently located near the teaching studios, our waiting areas help make every visit to Preston Harmony comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable for the entire family.
Safety and Security
Creating a safe, welcoming environment for every student is one of our highest priorities. Our school is thoughtfully designed to provide transparency, comfort, and peace of mind for both students and parents.
Every teaching studio door features a viewing window, allowing lessons to remain open and visible while maintaining a focused learning environment. Parents are always welcome to observe lessons, ask questions, and be involved in their child's musical journey.
During office hours, our administrative staff are available to greet families, answer questions, and assist with scheduling and student support.
Access to the school is controlled during lesson hours through secure entry, helping provide a safe environment for our students and faculty. From the design of our studios to the way we welcome families each day, every detail reflects our commitment to creating a place where students can learn with confidence.

Preston Harmony School of Music is conveniently located in Preston Forest Village at 11661 Preston Road, Suite 136, at the corner of Preston Road and Forest Lane. Our central location makes us easily accessible to families throughout Preston Hollow, Highland Park, University Park, Addison, Richardson, and surrounding North Dallas communities.
