Andre von Frasunkiewicz

Andre von Frasunkiewicz is an internationally acclaimed pianist with a master’s degree from the University of Florida. He is a former student of some of the world’s most distinguished teachers, including Ruth Slenczynska, a pupil of Rachmaninov, and Nelson Delle-Vigne, of the Ecole Normale de Musique of Paris. A winner of numerous national and international competitions, Andre has graced prestigious venues like the Kennedy Center and the Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C. and performed at Steinway and Liszt Festivals.  

Renowned pianist Nelson Freire has praised Andre’s “singular musical sensibility and power of communication,” while critics have highlighted his “authoritative musical insight” and “fiery virtuosity.” With over 20 years of experience teaching piano to students of virtually all ages and levels, particularly at Affinity Arts, a family-owned international school in Brasília, Brazil, Andre combines technical precision with fine musical and artistic expression in his instruction.  Andre is dedicated to engaging his students in a creative and stimulating journey, in a mutual exploration of the multi-dimensional elements of piano playing and music in general.  Fluent in both English and Portuguese, Andre is both a supporter and guide for those looking to learn and refine their musical abilities.
