Jacob Anthony Ramos’s love for the instrument began when his older brother brought a Guitar home after school. Not allowed to play the instrument, all he could do was admire it from afar. Years later, he would make decision to major in music with guitar as his main instrument. He attended Del Mar College and Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. Receiving a bachelor’s degree in music education, he clinical taught at Carroll High School in Corpus Christi to further refine his teaching skills. Apart from teaching, Jacob has received 2nd place at the Brownsville Guitar Festival in the ensemble division. He has also received 2nd Place at the Hill Country Classical Guitar Festival in the Duo Division as well as 1st in the Trio Division. Jacob is currently attending University of North Texas to obtain a Masters Degree in Music Performance. He also has a cat named, Henry who he adores.
