Letter From the Director

Hello, music families!

My name is Branda Guédet and I am delighted to have you at our school. I look forward to seeing you at the music events that we have planned for you.

My career in Dallas began in 2009 when I joined Gray School of Music as piano and violin faculty. Over the past 16 years, I have worked with numerous students and families, and I am amazed by the talent and dedication that I have witnessed.

If you are not one of my students, you might recognize me as the schedule coordinator who handled your enrollment. Indeed, I served as Mrs. Gray’s helper for the past ten years, assisting her with the management aspect of the school. When it was time for her to retire, we decided together that our school must continue and she expressed her wish for me step up to the leadership position.

One of the biggest factors that supported my decision to take on the role as the new owner and director of the school is the faculty, which, in my opinion, is the greatest asset of our school. I view them as the core of this business who will undoubtedly cultivate many musical talents and make music learning a rewarding experience for our students. I take great pride in the quality of the faculty that we have assembled and I make it my top priority that our team continues to thrive under my management.

If you are visiting us to consider enrolling in music lessons, thank you for your interest in our school. I invite you to learn more about our lessons and contact us to schedule a free trial lesson to begin your musical journey.

The music lesson business is unlike any traditional business when it comes to client relationships. I believe I can speak for our teachers in that to us, a student is never a ‘customer,’ but a cherished individual taking the steps to discover the joy of music. Our teachers understand that this bond is what makes the learning experience truly special, much like the music itself. We are committed to this relationship and fostering a love for music in every lesson.

To our music families, I sincerely thank you for your support of music education. Parents, you are giving your children a lifelong gift that will enhance their future endeavors. To our adult learners, I applaud your dedication to the pursuit of musical enrichment. Your passion and effort are truly inspiring.

We have often received lesson inquiries from parents who used to be students at the school when they were children. How many music schools could claim that they educated different generations of a family? We are proud to carry forward the prestigious legacy of the Gray School of Music that is rooted in trust and excellence as we embark on a new chapter as Preston Harmony School of Music. Join us in continuing this remarkable journey together.

Cheers to another 20 years!

Musically yours,

Branda Guédet
